Heritage Open Day: The Heritage Centre has both permanent and guest exhibitions showing at all times. These include: Brief Encounter Film Room and Gallery; Age of Steam Gallery; Wartime Carnforth Room; Lancaster's Lost Railways; Age of Nostalgia 'guest' exhibition until end of September; Furness and Midland Hall.
