Yorkshire Dales Mining Museum

Heritage Open Day: The Yorkshire Dales Mining Museum is housed in the old Earby Grammar School which was built c 1600 and contains the largest collection of Yorkshire Dales mining relics in the world. There are interpretative displays using this unique and comprehensive collection of artefacts including mine wagons, machinery, tools, photographs, models, and miners' personal belongings including the effects of the mysterious 'Buckden Bill'.
