Hinckley and District Museum

Heritage Open Day: Visit the last surviving thatched timber box frame cottages in Hinckley, dating from the 1680s, which house a museum of local history. Once lived in by framework knitters you can see a stocking frame of c.1740. New for 2014 is an exhibition on Hinckley and district during the First World War. Cottage garden and tearoom also open.
