St Martin's Church, Desford
Heritage Open Day: Apart from looking round the church, there will be an exhibition of banners about the British Legion, on loan from Leicestershire Record Office. Also a display by Desford & District Local History Society about soldiers from WW1. We hope that children will be awrae of the WW1 anniversary and take an interest in the research about named soldiers and their families. We will have a laptop for them to do their own research.
