Heritage Open Day: Birthplace and family home of Sir Isaac Newton - the place where he used a prism to split the sunlight into rainbow colours and saw the apple fall that inspired his thinking on gravity. 17thC Manor house furnished as it might have been during that 'year of wonders' in 1665-6 . Hands-on science in Science Discovery Centre and Light Workshop. Orchard (with the apple tree!), small coffee shop and short film.
