Heritage Open Day: A rare example of a Tudor manor house with Victorian interiors and original William Morris wallpaper. In this beautiful building, which has witnessed more than 400 years of turbulent history, you can uncover hidden Tudor secrets, take a guided tour or play billiards. Speke Hall is surrounded by gardens and woodland with seasonal displays of rhododendrons, daffodils and bluebells. There is a maze to explore or you can enjoy a bracing walk with stunning views of the Welsh hills.
