Heritage Open Day: Tucked along the cast iron shore you will find this beautiful Grade 1 Listed Church and the ‘Hamlet’ houses around it. They were built with cast iron in 1815, securing Liverpool’s unique place in architectural history. Come and visit this unique tribute to cast iron. Why not combine your visit with a short walk to the re-opened Festival Gardens site – together we are the ‘cast iron shore’ of the River Mersey. Children’s trail.
