Heritage Open Day: A beautiful Grade I listed building primarily of the 16th and 17th centuries. Four massive castellated round towers and round stair turret with Henry Clifford's coat of arms over the entrance archway and a pierced parapet bearing their motto 'DESORMAIS'. A chance to visit the rarely seen first floor rooms including the Desormais room situated over the entrance passage. A fine plaster frieze with the Clifford coat of arms and motto.
