Upton House and Gardens

Heritage Open Day: Relax in the mansion and gardens of a 1930s millionaire. While you discover more about the fortune and philanthropy that the Beardsted family were involved with you can decide for yourself if it was 'a fortune well spent'. For families we have a woodland trail in the gardens and also a trail through the house. We have treasure boxes in some of the rooms for children to explore and a 1930s dressing up room. Make sure you bring a camera!
