Heritage Open Day: Urine as a spot-remover, tomato ketchup as a brass polish and eggshells as washing-up liquid. Discover unusual uses for everyday objects from the Georgian period to the present day. Free family trail and hands-on information throughout. Try on Georgian costumes, have a go at writing with a quill, draw water from the well and take part in our mouse hunt throughout the cottage.
