First Mile to War Community Parade

Heritage Open Day: A commemorative community parade engaging all aspects of our local community in a journey undertaken with historical reference to the first mile walked to war by Leek C Battery. This event recognises the fallen with an historic parade and artwork display created by local schools, taken through the town centre to the Nicholson War Memorial, concluding with the service of rededication.
