Pykenham's Gatehouse

Heritage Open Day: Built about 1471 for William Pykenham, Archdeacon of Suffolk, as entrance to his residence on the site now occupied by the Ipswich and Suffolk Club. Timber-framed, with interesting internal and external architectural features. Restored in 1982-83 by Ipswich Building Preservation Trust.
