Thelnetham Mill
Heritage Open Day: Mr Buttons had built the present tower mill at Thelnetham and started milling on Christmas Day 1819. It was in continuous use until July 1924, after which it entered into slow decline. A group of enthusiasts rescued it from almost total ruin in 1980 and restored it to the fine condition in which it is in today. Wind permitting, we shall be milling flour. Tours available throughout both days.
