Farnham Library

Heritage Open Day: The facade of Vernon House dates back to 1721. The rear central portion was rebuilt c1860, most likely after a fire. The oldest part of the building is the east wing, dating from c.1563, when it was known as Culver Hall. Visit the panelled Culver Room, King Charles I stayed the night here, on 20th December 1648, he was on his way to London for his trial and execution!
