New Hall Water Mill
Heritage Open Day: New Hall Water Mill is a privately owned water mill situated within New Hall Valley Country Park. It was built in the 18th century. All of the machinery has been carefully restored to working order and is operated on open days to produce stone ground wholemeal flour. The mill has an overshot water wheel that operates a pair of French Burr mill stones. Other machinery is operated by a Ruston and Hornsby diesel engine.
