Bignor Roman Villa

Heritage Open Day: Bignor Roman Villa is the stunning remains of a Roman home and farm with world-class mosaic floors in the heart of the South Downs National Park. In 1811 local farmer George Tupper uncovered the Summer Dining Room Fountain after striking it with his plough. The site still remains in the Tupper Family ownership to this day. For this weekend only Bignor Roman Villa is opening its doors as part of the Heritage Open Days and are offering free admission to all of our visitors. Me
