Town Lock Up

Heritage Open Day: Two-cell lock up added to the partly Norman town bridge when it was widened in the 17th century. Iron cots and en-suite facilities still in-situ. On top is a weather vane in the form of the Bradford gudgeon; hence prisoners were 'under the fish and over the water'.
