Oh! What a lovely war
Oh! What a lovely war is a theatrical chronicle of the First World War told through the songs, speeches and letters of the period.
Interspersed with newspanels and pictures, it is an account, sometimes hilarious, sometimes moving, of the people who lived and died in the conflict.
First presented by Theatre Workshop in 1963 under the direction of Joan Littlewood.
