Practice Taiji must begin with Wu Ji , and earnestly seek Yin and Yang, opening and closing. Wu Ji is a state of emptiness, before a formation of any movement, as soon as the slightest movement occurs it is already Taiji and it contains Yin and Yang, opening and closing.
Movement and stillness both exist, however stillness is the foundation.
