Set in the magnificent grounds of Winslow Hall in the rolling Buckinghamshire countryside Winslow Hall Opera will stage Donizetti’s rarely performed Lucia di Lammermoor from Friday 5 until Sunday 14 September.
Based on Sir Walter Scott’s 1819 novel The Bride of Lammermoor, Donizetti’s effervescent Scottish opera Lucia di Lammermoor was written in 1835 and will be performed just days ahead of the Scottish Referendum.
