Verdi: Requiem

York Musical Society Chorus and Orchestra, along with St Michael's Singers Coventry perform Verdi's Reqieum, one of the masterpieces of Western music. This was an overnight sensation as Verdi's major sacred composition.
Soloists are: Gweneth-Ann Jeffers, Kay Symonds-Joy, David Butt Phillips and Julian Tovey. Conducted by David Pipe.
