Mendelssohn Elijah

This piece was commissioned for the Birmingham festival and at its premiere was attended by an audience of early 2000. It was an unprecedented success and is a highly dramatic work. It is considered to be the crowning glory of Mendelssohn's career. Conducted by David Pipe. Soloists are Susanna Fairbairn, Margaret McDonald, Jason Darnell and Alexander Ashworth.

Tickets £12-£20. 7.30pm, doors open 6.30pm.
