Radlett Art Society presents “Vorx of Hart”
Edward Lear’s Paintings and Watercolours
A digital lecture by Ann Clement BA FRSA
Edward Lear is probably best known for his Nonsense Verses. However, he was a prolific artist in watercolour and oil and an indefatigable traveller. Despite serious health problems he travelled further and more intensively over a 50 year period than any of his contemporaries, recording all he saw. This lecture will explore his remarkable work and delightful character.
