The Pants of Alnwick
An exhibition featuring pants . . . no not that kind! A pant is a public water fountain and in Alnwick and the surrounding villages we have a fine collection dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, although their history stretches back further than that. As part of our Heritage Open Days on Saturday 13th September we will have family activities available and on Sunday 14th at 2:30 pm we will have a free guided walk of the town pants.
