Sampford Spiney and Horrabridge churches and their friends have been selling 2500 one metre squares of the Playing Field at Plaster Down at £2 each. The area will be enclosed in an electric fence and at 1pm on 20 September a cow will be introduced into the area. The holder of the square in which the cow………..(use your imagination!)…… will win £500 – unsold tickets can be bought on the day. Entry is free and gates open at 12am – bar, barbecue, bric-a-brac, refreshments, a few vintage vehicles
