Hounslow Symphony Orchestra 60th Anniversary Concert
Hounslow Symphony Orchestra marks its 60th season with this celebration concert. Programme includes Peter Sculthorpe's Beethoven Variations, arguably the greatest symphony by a British composer Elgar's Symphony No 1, and the world premiere of a new modern commission by arguably the most important British composer living today, John Woolrich. The Tongs and The Bones has been commissioned in celebration of the orchestra’s 60th season and the composer’s 60th birthday.
