Bearsden Celtic Festival
A 3-day event celebrating Celtic culture in various ways. Friday sees local schools coming together to display their newly-taught Scottish Country Dancing skills with a family ceilidh in the evening.
Saturday has 11 different workshops for adults and children, complete beginners and more experienced, in fiddle, ukelele, Scots song, chanter, starter Gaelic language, step dancing and group work in Scots song and instrument. The tutors are experienced and all well-known.
