Feathered friends from afar! - A guided wildlife walk from Naturebites.

A walk along a tree-lined road where we will be searching for tired migrant birds who are stopping by for a rest. A stripey sprite from Siberia, the yellow-browed warbler, has found this site very much to its liking and since its first sighting (by Ken) in 1985 has become almost annual here in October. Other birds found here at this time have included barred warbler, red-breasted flycatcher, firecrest, black redstart and hoopoe!
10:30-noon. This guided wildlife walk costs £10 per adult and children are free! We can provide binoculars upon request. For more information and to book, please call or email Kathy@naturebites.co.uk.
