Exhibition of new Magna Carta Tapestries
New Magna Carta tapestries, marking the 800th anniversary in 2015 of the sealing of the Magna Carta, will be
on show in Kendal during the month of November 2014. Eight of the 12 tapestries, designed and sewn by
Royal embroiderer Rhoda Nevins, will be seen by thousands of people next year as part of the anniversary
celebrations. This is the first time such a collection will visit the North West and the first time some of these
embroideries have been exhibited!
