To mark the centenary of the outbreak of World War One, Sheffield City Opera present a concert of heart-riven moments in Opera. This concert is about more than sepia memories. It has themes we can relate to now. It's a familiar story that goes back to 1914 and beyond: countries torn apart; families, and neighbours divided; the breakdown of love; seismic shakedown and sometimes reconciliation of the sweetest kind.
