New Shades of West Lancashire Art Exhibition

Kate Hurst is holding her second exhibition at Ormskirk Library. New Shades of West Lancashire will feature acrylic paintings and ink drawings showing landscape scenes of the local area; several new pieces will be displayed, including views of The Post Office at Newburgh, Holy Trinity Church at Bickerstaffe, and Top Locks, Lathom.

The paintings have been inspired by Kate’s own photographs of the local area, taken when researching and documenting her family history, and all are influenced by

No admission charge. The exhibition opening hours are the same as those for Ormskirk Library; Monday 9am-7pm; Tuesday 9am-5pm; Wednesday 9am-5pm; Thursday 9am-5pm; Friday 9am-7pm; Saturday 9am-4pm.
