Family History Talk: Manorial Documents

Manorial documents can be a valuable source to the family historian, providing both genealogical and social information for the time prior to the creation of church records. Their successful use, where they survive, requires a willingness to tackle Latin, and an understanding of their content. Sarah Charlton of the Centre For Buckinghamshire Studies will describe the type of documents which are likely to be found, their use, and what they might tell us.
2pm. Free; non-members of Buckinghamshire Family History Society are very welcome; a small donation will be appreciated.
