An evening of British folk songs arranged by Benjamin Britten, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, George Butterworth and Ernest Moeran, and two piano arrangements by Percy Grainger. The programme includes Linden Lea, Salley Gardens, The Trees They Grow So High, A Seaman's Life and Three Scoth Folksongs. Joanna Bywater performs with a wide range of repertoire and regularly performs in ensembles including the Gabrieli consort, BBC Singers, Philharmonia Voices and Britten Sinfonia Voices
