Spratton Remembers The Great War
Spratton Local History Society is organizing an event to commemorate all those from the community who served in the Great War and, in particular, Lt William Rhodes-Moorhouse. He was the first Airman to be awarded the Victoria Cross.
The event will feature replica aircraft and authentic motor vehicles, a range of artifacts, a display of local history research, an opportunity to play war games, and bookstalls with new and secondhand books about the period.
