On February 11, 2015, the Cotswold Decorative and Fine Arts Society will hold a lecture entitled “The Painted Church: Seeing and Understanding Medieval Wall Paintings” by Roger Rosewell. This richly illustrated lecture explains the history of these paintings and their meaning, the subjects they showed, how they were painted and by whom.
