Living History at Easter
It’s Easter and down in the basement the cooks are busy preparing traditional Easter fare including Simnel Cake which servant girls gave to their mothers on Mid-lent Sunday (Mothering Sunday). Catch the smell of baking wafting through the corridors. Follow the servants as they go about they daily chores.
House opens at 11am and last entry is 3.15pm. Normal National Trust admission applies to non members.
