Spring Concert
The Aanna Colls Singers and Orchestra are enjoying preparing for their Spring Concert. The programme starts with the glorious Faure ‘Requiem’ followed by the ‘Legende in E flat’ by Delius, played by the leader of the Orchestra.
The second half is a contemporary work by the Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo, ‘Sunrise Mass’. We performed two movements of this in Venice in ’13 to appreciative audiences. Like the Singers themselves, a choir member’s husband has fallen in love with this beautiful work.
