Jazz Café with Jo
Fooks
The hard swinging, warm toned tenor and flute player,
Jo Fooks, won the ‘Young Scottish Musician of the Year’ award and went on to study at the Guildhall in London and the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston, before being recruited by the late Humphrey Lyttelton into his eight-piece band. Jo was originally due to perform at the Jazz Café in June 2013 but came down with Bells Palsy which left her unable to play for 14 months. Following her recovery, we are delighted to welcome her back
