Join archaeologists Jenny Hall and Paul Sambrook of TRYSOR on this moderate 4.5 mile walk to explore the archaeology along the Monks Trod between Pont ar Elan and the upper Hirin valley. In view of the current commemoration of the centenary of the First World War, the walk will visit a remarkable military firing range, used on the eve of the outbreak of the conflict - a rare survival in the Welsh landscape.
