The Pop Group
The Pop Group Plus Guests The Pop Group formed in Bristol in 1977 out of a sense of disenchantment with the increasing conservatism of punk and released their Dennis Bovell debut album, Y, in 1979. Their second album, For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder? arrived in 1980 before the band imploded in the same year.
Reforming in 2010, the band have played festivals across the globe including Summer Sonic, Primavera and OFF, and recently completed a 7-date UK tour in support of the reissu
