50 objects, 50 stories, 50 years of Hackney.
2015 marks 50 years since the Borough of Hackney, as we know it today, was formed. In celebration of this, 50 local people, groups and schools have selected an object each from Hackney Museum's collections to share what Hackney means to them. Each object is accompanied by a story explaining why it was chosen and is the start of a conversation with people who live, work and learn in the borough.
