Hook Choral Society Spring Concert
The Hook Choral Society Spring Concert is entitled ‘Serenity’ after a work by Ola Gjeilo who is one of the most exciting composers of the 21st century. The programme also includes other beautiful and moving music from Fauré’s ‘Cantique de Jean Racine’ and Parry’s ‘I Was Glad’ to more contemporary pieces by Arvo Pärt, arguably the greatest living composer, as well as works by Harris, Purcell, Rachmaninoff, Rheinberger and Rameau.
