Blood Donation Session
A blood donation session in the community where blood donations are collected from volunteers and blood is used to save and prolong life in local hospitals.
Donors need to be good health and aged between 17 and 65 (for new donors.) We collect a unit (475ml) of blood and the whole process can take between 45 mins and 1 hour.
There are free refreshments available afterwards. Each unit of blood collected could save or extend up to three lives.
