Foraging Walk and Campfire Cooking Day
Join us for a day exploring the woods and what they can provide. We will start the day with a walk discussing the food, medicinal and craft uses of plants, returning to camp to practice fire-lighting methods, natural cordage making and an introduction to wood carving while enjoying some good food cooked over the fire. Bring outdoor clothing, snacks and drinks to keep you going. Let staff know about any food allergies or requirements when booking.

Meet: Mapperley Car Park, Shipley Country Park.
Length: 2 – 3 miles.
Equipment: Suitable clothing and footwear.
