Brush Lettering on Paper & Fabric
A day spent learning the technique of edged brush lettering and its potential use on fabrics for banners, bunting, bags, t-shirts & as a basis for embellishment with embroidery.
After first practising the basic brushstrokes on paper, you will then be able to try out different mediums on different fabrics - plain-coloured cotton /poly cottons are best but you can experiment with all manner of materials such as silks, calico, linen. Bring some small-size samples with you - raid your friends sew
