Clifford Wight - an extraordinary life: a talk by Julian Baker
Born and raised in Swindon in the late 19th century Clifford Wight was to lead an extraordinary adventurous life: emigrating to Canada as a Mountie before fighting in WWI. On the move to California and Mexico in the 1920s Wight reinvented himself as a sculptor in the company of iconic artists Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo - becoming Rivera’s assistant to work on his revolutionary Frescos.
