British Archaeology - Clickimin Broch prehistory treasure hunt
Designed as a family event, replica objects in common use during the Bronze and Iron Age periods will be hidden around the site for children to find. Archaeologists will be on hand to explain what each object is and for what it was used. It will in turn be used to teach children about the Clickimin Broch complex through its many periods of occupation, the place these people occupied within the context of the wider world and about archaeology in general.
