Meet our visiting Greek soldier and hear of his time in the army of Alexander the Great and his Great victory at Gaugamela against Darius the Persian King. Fought in what is now Iraq, Darius had gathered men from all over his Empire, even mercenaries from India, including 15 elephants! His army was over 100,000 strong, perhaps as large as a million men.
