British Archaeology - Explorations along the Monks' Trod, Elan Valley
Come and join Jenny Hall & Paul Sambrook of Trysor for a moderate 4.5 mile walk exploring the archaeology along the 'Monk's Trod' between Pont ar Elan and the upper Hirin valley. Whilst stretching our legs and having a chat, we'll also be looking at traces of people who knew the area long ago including part of a remarkable First World War military firing range, used on the eve of the outbreak of the conflict over a hundred years ago.
