British Archaeology - In the Footsteps of the Romans

Following in the footsteps of the Romans and the Packhorse drivers, a picturesque linear walk on country lanes, footpaths and tracks, approx 3 miles, interpreted by Nick Brook of Huddersfield and District Archaeological Society, as part of the Milestone Society's 'Crossing the Pennines' Heritage Trail celebrations in the Yorkshire Colne Valley.

Suitable for families with children over 8 - not for the mobility impaired or buggies, sorry! Sensible footwear, a drink and a snac

Meet at 13.00 in the Old Bank Carpark, Slaithwaite, to catch a coach to the start point, the Lower R, West Yorkshire HD7 5AR
